Winter Tyres?

Sorry to post a "boring" new topic but I need advice...............
Winter is coming and I'm slipping, sliding all over the place up on the North Yorkshire moors.
I need some really grippy winter tyres that can cope with wet tree roots (without slipping off to the side :x ) and be able to hold me in a reasonably straight line going down wet muddy banks.
I'm using Panaracer Trailblaster at the moment (kind of a summer/all terain tyre....Just not cutting it with the "glupe"
Your advice please.....

In my humble opinion, I would stick with Panaracer and go for Trailraker if it's really muddy (though not especially good for roots) or if it drains well but and is just rooty go for Cinders or Rampage.
Just my opinion though and tyres are a really personal thing.0 -
