Hi,

My brother found some old unused Halo Combat rims (24") in his shed and wanted to know if he can get them built up anywhere near him and how much he should be paying.

He already has a pair of hubs he'd like to use so just needs some spokes and someone to build them.

I offered to give it a whirl and try build them up but he said no! (miserable git) lol Said he wants someone that knows what they're doing lol

He lives in the east London so anywhere near there woould be good.

Thanks for any help/advice you can give

Trevor

I don't know about London, but i do know that it's critical you get it done properly. If botched, all hell could break loose, rims, spokes even hubs have been ruined by a simple error in making the wheel.

It's definitely a professional jobby best done at an LBS wherever you can find them (no not halfords).

On upgrades? Pay someone œ90 to take it away.
