Indigestion after a ride

Recently after going out on my standard ride - up to 20 miles - and only taking water on board I'm finding that I end up with indigestion.

Seems a bit weird but anyone had a similar problem or anyone got any suggestions as to how to get round it?

How long after eating do you ride?

I usually go when I get home after work, so it's at least four hours, often five.
