    Google 'weight weenies' Listings,then rims.
    Should be on there.

    P.S.
Just did, the Fulcrums are'nt listed.
I would imagine it's no contest though.
Are there any lighter weight wheels than Fulcrum Zero's,regardless of build spec that can be had for a similar price?

Well my Rolf Elan Aero RS wheels (£695) weigh 1360g a pair inluding skewers and the elan aeros are 1300g for the same price (the rs has a reinforced rear rim forextra strength) they both have a 24mm deep rim section and they're fast.

thats between 60 -120g lighter than the zeros incl skewers.

    Cheeers Mike.
    Where did you buy them?

    Sorry to digress pliptrot
  • No probs: I'm on the verge of buying some factory wheels -I came within a credit card swipe of some Ksyrium SSCs a little while ago- so any recommendations and information is welcome.

Does anyone know of what recommendations there are for gluing tubs to carbon rims and - possibly more importantly- how to clean them between tub changes? I might go the Zipp route if I can figure out how not to dissolve the rims.
  • Campag neutrons are better value for money & I think of very simular weight to both the mavic & fulcrum. Only down side is I think the neutrons are only available in campag (is it possible to use the shimano freehub off a fulcrum?).

re glue - loads of info / debate on this already on the forum.
My preference - conti tub cement (get a big tin)
Can be cleaned off with thinners (even zipp rims)

I just bought a pair those from Mike Vaughn Cycles. Good service, arrived next day. I've yet to try the wheels so can't comment on them yet
