    Easy - Fidessa are doing interesting things at the mo. GFI is dominating as a broker and Fimat is a great FCM. I think SuperDerivatives are also working on some good stuff too - they have some interesting client names.

    I'm officially a student, but I'm doing a years placement with the Science and Technology Facilities Council near Warrington, so I'm cycle commuting there for the next year before I'm back in Manchester.

    Looks like I'm the only one with a real job - supplying industrial raw materials to plastics, paints, ceramics, coatings, foundries, etc. Ships full of the stuff. None of this computer nonsense - get out and walk through the toxic fumes of industry you office monkeys !!!!!

    I work with doctors and NHS managers, see the NHS from the inside, and have seen a person from the inside as well (quite interesting, actually)

    This "real job" bo77ocks really gets my jib, everyone has a real job, we all add to the economic growth of the country (I've got a degree in economics, FYI, so this is a bit of a hobby horse).

    Harrumph.
