wore mine for the first time this morning in fairly heavy rain and stiff winds and not only did it keep out the elements 100% succesfully, i didn't overheat. had i worn my old packlite goretex jecket i would've sweated my ar** off.
I put off getting a xenon jacket for ages because of the cost but i'm really glad i took the plunge. i thouroughly recommend it for sweatybettys like me who perspire at the slightest hint of physical exertion. It even looks ok in fireball orange which i though was going to be horribble (no other choice with wiggle)

Alas, for me, the e-vent fabric is too thick and would be like wearing a duvetpm0
