I got one of each last week, I think the Gill jersey is better quality. Had to send back the dhb jersey though as they sent the wrong size.

Throughly good deal.

How is the sizing on this stuff? For the Dhb stuff I am right at the end of the spec for a size - Am I better off going to the next size? Don't want it so tight I can't breathe!

I got a Friston a few weeks ago, and the Large is a good fit for commuting - not too tight, not too loose that it flaps about. I also have a DHB Meryl jersey in Medium, which is tight and a little short (not a problem if wearing with bibs), but the material of the Meryl is much stretchier than the Friston.

(I'm 5'10, 41" chest for reference - HTH)

Hi there,

I ordered 2 of the Gill Jerseys, as per my other 'how fitted do you have your cycling tops' thread.

Mine are both Small, and I find them rather fitted, and I am still torn as to whether to send them back and go for mediums, or stick with the small.

My chest is approx 37", and I'm fairly slim of build at the moment.

How do those who have bought these Gill jerseys find the fit?

I always buy the next size up, otherwise I feel like I'm being strangled. Large in "normal" clothing fits me fine, so XL in tops and shorts is nigh on perfect and without being flappy.

It sounds like you'd be happy with the larger size (medium), so I would return them.

Oh boy, the fun I've had with Shimano shoes!
