Will 2.35" tyres fit my Alex rims?

Hi
I have a set of Alex DM18 rims, ( ERD 545.1mm, ETRTO 559X18mm ) - currently I'm running a pair of 2.1 maxxis high rollers on them. To inspire me with more confidence ( I know it's a placebo ) I was thinking of replacing these with the 2.35 version.
I have enough clearance, and I'm aware that I'll need to get a set of inner tubes to fit this size tyre; my question is will 2.35" tyres fit my rims? I'm assuming they will, but before I spend ~£60 I'd just like to make sure the tyres would stay on the rims!
Best regards
Sam

Its a close call personally on a rim that narrow I think the profile of the tyre will be compromised somewhat.0

On my old Marin i had 2.4" panny fire fr's on some 19mm rims with no probs, it just means ur tires wil have a more rounded profile instead of a square.0
