Rear wheel slipping

I'm having issues with the rear wheel where when i go to pedal off from stand still the wheel has a habit of slipping to the left. I tried tightening up the quick release as tight as possible without over tightening the quick release, but still seems to happen. Can any one help me here. This is getting very frustrating :x
