It sounds like there is some action. Sastre has attacked early and managed to dump Efimkin from the front group!

    Wicked at least Big Bad Vlad (and all his hair) hasn't been dropped yet, but he appears to be teammateless unlike CSC - they could (should) really control this.

    Looks like a pretty small group now. The finish in Avila is a good one too, with the cobbly bits in the final couple of kms.

    Evans might not be able to work,he takes some dropping so should get credit for hanging in there.Menchov didn't do much either.

    Evans won the sprint for 2nd, so I find it hard to believe he was just hanging in there. And Menchov obviously didn't need to contribute.
