Ok Guys i posted this a while back and didn't get many replys. Looking to spend about £1500 on a bike. Looking for HT XC bike or any other suggestions for the money. I live in france so see this bike alot when i go into decathlon, but can't find any reviews. Just don't want to get it wrong. What do you think? Spec looks great but can't help thinking somethings wrong with it?

tbh it is a bit of an unknown.
good spec, fair weight and good warenty.
if you can afford it and it fits get it."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If you're in France and have that budget, go for a Lapierre bike.
£1500 gets you this tasty hardtail http://www.cycles-lapierre.fr/lapierre/fr/VTT/produit/caracteristiques/PRO-RACE-500-1
You will also have spare change when you leave the shop to celebrate the new arrival in the family. Well, not quite, but you will only be 40 quid over budget0 -
Thanks everyone for the useful replys. I'll won't eat their steak tartare and say that we do better custard...
That Lapierre looks nice, i'll try to find one to test and compare it to the btwin.0 -
I was in France recently and had a look at the price of bikes, particularly Decathlon for my son, and discovered they were actually cheaper in the uk! It may be the VAT rate is higher in France so you can get them cheaper here.
Anyway as a Commencal rider myself I know what I'd go for!Commencal Meta 5.5.1
