Recently got myself a Marin Wolfridge full susser. Had it 3 weeks tomorrow, thing is it gives me so much confidence I keep over cooking it and falling off. From these 3 weeks I've had 2 seperate weeks off for my dodgy knee to recover. So 2 things please:

1 Advice on decent unobtrusive knee protectors for trail riding so rubbing at a minimum

2 Some 26 x 2.1 or 2.3 tyres that'll be decent in the Yorkshire mud and a bit of sand/gravel

Cheers to anyone who replies :D

661 Veggie Kneeguard, these are very unobtrusive but i don't know if they will rub.
  • Second vote for Veggies, I've done 22 mile XC rides with them on without any rubbing.
  • Cheers for that.

Went to shop to try em but they were too tight against my knee, they were fine on my good knee though.

Got some Mace Dirt Jump Knees instead because they have a hard cap which is supported on the outside of the knee rather than the knee cap so hopefully.... But for £15 even if they're rubbish I can save them for Stainburn Forest etc

Going to try em tomorrow if my ribs will let me!

The shop also suggested Panaracer Fire XC Pro tires, anyone used these?
