Handlebars

After some advice regarding making my handle bars shorter.

I am about to fit sone ergon grip/ends and have always thought the bars were wide.

Can u just saw them down and what effect would it have on the performance?

    A little advice before you cut them, try hand have a good ride with your grips positioned roughly where they will end up when the bars are cut, i cut mine and had a good ride today and found them a tad uncomfy :oops:

    and what about it?

    a bar is a bar is a bar.
    as long as your grips and brakes and shifters fit that is all it has to do.

    width personal and iseage dependant. i have bars from 590 to 710mm wide.

    do with yours as you wish.
