Bought some gloves last winter as I thought for £4 I might as well give them go and they turned out to be brilliant. However I seem to have lost them so want to get some more. Was it lidl or aldi and has anyone any idea when their cycling stuff will be back in the shops?

Aldi and Lidl both do cycling gear. Asking in Aldi last week about new stock I was told it only comes in once a year, in the spring. Its how far !!0

I thought one of them does winter cycling gear too, i.e. once a year on summer stuff (shorts jerseys, socks) and again later in the year on winter stuff (tights, gloves, jackets). Perhaps I'm making it all up, hummmm....Every winner has scars.0

ALDI do have two main bike gear sales, one in Autumn/early Winter for the jackets, bib-longs, gloves, fleeces, base layers, etc. for the cold months and another in Spring with the warm-weather clothing.
I expect there'll be one in the next month or so, check the website (ALDI offers) and/or the preview brochures at the stores.
I'm sure someone will post a warning thread on here a few weeks ahead when news is out...
Great gear for the money too, I bought 2 pairs of windproof bib-longs with decent pads for £8 EACH (!!) and they are still like new, just a little shiny in the saddle area, and I used then through last winter. £5 for a fluffy-lined jersey, £9.99 for a neoprene-style jacket...
I estimated the same gear I paid £40 for would have cost nearer £150 through the cheapest bike stores/online shops. And most of it of similar quality too.
