I have my eye on a Stumpjumper comp its the 07 I guess, (the black and red design with the shock that goes throught the frame)
My only decision to make is on the sizing, now ordinarily at 5'6" (5'7" in shoes), I always plump for a small size frame in most bikes, usually its not a big decision to make. However I sat on a Stumpjumper in small frame size yesterday and it felt a bit short. (I would have had to put at least a 120mm stem on for comfort) There was not a medium to try. I was wondering what sizing have most people gone for with this bike. It is unusual for me to go for anything other than a small, but was wondering if the stumpjumpers come up small for their stated size ?

All bikes vary for their size: thats why you cannot simply say" I'm an 17" etc". You need to try and find the medium to test.0

I'm surprised there wasn't a medium around, most test bikes are in medium (a pain as I'm a large!) Hunt around a bit, you should be able to find a medium, unless they've sold off all their demo stock already.....0
