Headset for a Carrera Fury

Has anyone out there replaced the headset on their Fury, mines had it after 6 months.
Don't really want to take it back as it will just get replaced like for like. Any good ones out there that are not in the Chris King price range?

cant you just drop a new set of cartridge bearings in? Or as it totaly had it?

It's very notchy, took it out the other night and seems it had very little or no grease from new, not sure on the condition of the races

like for like just about as it is a Zero stack cane creek zs3 or similar will do.
