Good deal?

After much internet browsing and bike shop visiting and test riding I finally decided to go for a specialized myka elite for the missus and the 2008 rockhopper comp for me.
The persuading factor was a 15% forces discount from Tredz making the rockhopper £638 and the Myka £383
Then as I was placing my order over the phone I was told the rockhopper was unavailable untill November 2nd. AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!
So my question is does anyone know of any other sellers who do forces discount or what would make a good alternative from Tredz.co.uk. (Note the discount is only available on full price bikes).
Please Help,
Cheers, Greg

Sometimes the cheapest deal is not always the best: the local shop may cost a bit more (more overheads, and you have used their facilities to test ride) but you will get better after sales care and a free service.0

I know but I did purchase my childs bike (Trek Mt 220 Girls), helmet and a cyclocomputer from there so I was not just abusing the LBS for a test ride.
I agree with you totally about the after sevice but for a total saving of nearly £200 on 2008 brand new bikes its hard to refuse and pay the extra :oops:0 -
Just a quick update, went back to the shop today and bought both the Myka elite and Rockhopper Comp with a 10% discount, so a good deal I think, should be here in a couple of days! :P0
