Hi guys, I'm looking to buy my first proper mountain bike, I'm planning on getting a Tyax Elite. I know the last model (2007) was a good spec (for the money), is the latest model (2008) still good value for about £300?

Its very similar: fork gets lockout rather than adjustable rebound damping.
