If a summer bike is to be laid up for the winter, is it better to leave the tyres with pressure in them of deflate them completely or does it not effect tyre longevity either way?

    Keep them inflated. Unless the bike is hanging above the ground the sidewalls can crack if left sitting on flat tyres.
