Genuine Innovations - leaky Top Dog pump

Hi there

I've got a Genuine Innovations Top Dog floor pump, which has a dual valve head and is very good...except that it has started being "leaky" when pumping up Presta valves. Works fine for Schraeder, but air seems to be escaping through the nozzle/hole that is not in use when I pump up Presta valves. Is there a seal inside which might have failed and could be replaced? I don't want to go taking the whole thing apart and wrecking it - it seems pretty impenetrable anyway!

Or could I replace the whole hose/head assembly? I can't find details of spare parts on the http://www.genuineinnovations.com site...

Thanks for your help! :?

I've got one of those. You should be able to get a replacement hose and head, they are fairly standard items. The top dog has not been around that long, if it is less than a year old I would expect a warranty repair or replacement.

You should get a warranty replacement, hopefully the shop will sort that out, if not you will have to bash your head against the brick wall that is Zyro (the distributors).
  • Thanks for your speedy responses. Sounds like getting a replacement under warranty is the best bet!

    Cheers :D
