    it'll fit your forks but the clamp is 25.4mm - this is mtb bar size. Most road bars are 26.0 (or 31.8 if it's oversize)

    It's not really a bargain either - you can pick up Prodigies s/hand for around a tenner.

    IMO, buy a proper road stem, like an ITM Millenium. Class stem which you can pick up mint for £25 ish s/hand.

    Did you actually read what price it was?

    I agree about it not being suitable for a road bike though.

    sorry, yes, I must be blind ......... (can't imagine what made me that way.... :oops: )

    Prodigy are solid enough, but quite hefty. The SyStem is a much nicer piece of kit, as is the Deus.

    I think mine is a bit long, and was thinking about getting a shorter one.

    yeah - its pretty easy - just 4 or 6 bolts to undo.

    the difficulty comes if your standard setup has the brake / gear cables cut to exactly that dimension (not usual) - adding an extra 10 or 20mm stem is a 2 minute job.
