Felt q800s or GT Avalanche 1.0. First bike.

Can get both for £450, so which one guys ? Daily commute 15 miles round trip, 5 times a week and weekend fun with the boys. Sat on a Felt q800s tonight. No toys though. (no discs or rear suspention) But the feel and quality and parts seemed second to none. Please help me out. Only on these two models though as mind is set on either, please dont confuse me any more. Thanks in advance, Mark

    Just to say, I have an Avalanche 1 and love it to bits. Really comfy positive bike that goes exactly where you put it. You'd need to chnge the tires straight away though because the Kendas it comes with are super slow for commuting ..I can't be subjective though because I've never sat on a FELT. Also, if you're anywhere near Betsws y coed, the new bike shop (ultimate ourdoors I think) was selling the 2007 Avalanche 1 for 399 when I was up there a couple of weeks ago..
