Which Trail Bike?

I've owned a few nice bikes over the last two years - classis Blur, Nomad and Intense 5.5 but never found any one to be just right.
Basically I liked the angles on the classic Blur but wanted more travel as, being a big lad, it bottomed out quite a bit.
Any suggestions for a bike with nice XC angles and 5 ins of travel? Don't do drops or jumps?
