Does anybody know where you can purchase the carbon lever on the Hayes website or is there a better quality blade lever that will fit the Hayes sole brake?

Assuming that the Sole and HFX9 levers are the same, a pair of carbon levers will set you back £70. For £106, you could have a pair of Juicy 3s http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=22185

  • I must agree - for the brakes you are thinking of putting them on it simply isn't worth it - even if the ones are damaged currently - just order exact replacements. It would be a lot cheaper and would make more sense. otherwise you will end up with levers that cost (or are worth) more than your brakes.... :?

You would be much better off going for the Avid Juicy 3's - a much better brake.

I would recommend saving a little more and go for new brakes!
  • ok thanks ill probably get them then unless there are any brakes that are better give or take around £25
