Fork for Cotic Soul

I have just ordered a Cotic Soul frame which won't be available till October However shopping around for bits in the menatime and am looking at this fork:

Is this a good choice for heavy duty xc/all mountain use? I don't want the bike to be too heavy and it seems like very good value for money at that price!
Other forks I should look at? I was tempted by the Rockshox Pike but is a bit hefty and a bit pricey!

Pike would require a 20mm hub. Both excellent forks.0

AARRGHH! I was all set to order the Revelations from CRC but then realised that Wiggle hae the Revelation 426 Uturn one (The CRC is the 409 Uturn) Is there a difference between these? On the face of the tech info they seem the same!
To make it worse Wiggle have a dual air (non adjustable) version of the Revelation which is lighter, cheaper and black! Will I miss being able to adjust the travel? I don't use the travel adjust on my FOx forks that often but I do sometimes....0 -

yes there are differences.
and there are different versions of each as well."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Right having carfully studied the CRC vs Wiggle offering the only difference I can see is the 426 has a POPLOC "option" even the weight is identical.
So which is better?0 -
but which are they?
air or coil? all travel? u-turn? air u-turn?
with the spring loaded compresion dial than needs a pop lock or the friction dial that does not?

Thanks for the link! Starting to understand the differences now.
I've been looking at the 409 Air Uturn vs the 426 Air Uturn and also the 426 Dual Air.
Is the Poploc option worth having?0 -
the whole poplock thing is a farse. if the fork has the spring loaded blue dial it needs a pop lock if you do not get the poplock lever the fork can not be locked out.
the fork that does not have the spring loaded blue dial does not need the poplock."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Check out this weblink to understand the exact differences in Rockshox models, including Revelations - I found it to be totally awesome when I was upgrading (ended up with RECONs) You'll find Revelations under the AM bit, along with Recons, Pikes, Lyrics etc.

Sorry to ask a question and not provide much advice on this - where did you order your Cotic Soul from if you don't mind my asking?"If you think straight enough, you can see round corners"0 -

Cheers mate. Blind as a bat on both accounts.
Easy."If you think straight enough, you can see round corners"0 -
Sorry to keep going on about this but......
The 426 has an "external floodgate" whereas the 409 has an internal floodgate. Is there a real advantage to this?0
