Reading an old topic on gear changes i was wondering how hard it is to change cable and if it makes a big difference?
I have XT with c**p index after hours of adjustment! I have read alot on cable housing etc.. but dont understand how the new cable comes i.e completely covered in plastic wrap you have to cut of??

inner comes compleate, outer can be bought pre cut greased and with ends on. of as a length that will need cutting to the required size and end putting on. (push fit).
