Scott Ransom Suspension issue

I have a Scott Ransom 40 and have just found the source of a nasty clunky sound. I have play in the main pivot just above the bottom bracket. The issue is i have no idea how to fix this one. There are pinch clamps, which fix the swing arm to the axle (these are tight), but I see no way to tighten up the actual axle which presumably sits on bearings within the frame.
Hope that description wasnt too vague. If anyone knows how i can get rid of this play i would be very grateful!

TBH it will be back to the shop time. scott generally have a press fit axle on the main pivot."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I agree with nick - definately a shop job, any play in the pivots needs to be sorted asap or it will have a knock on effect elsewhere ie welds failing, frame snapping etc... http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=125424060
