Fitting a new front mech which size

The problem i have is iv just built my self a bit of an xc bike but i need a front mech but i dont no what the diameter of the seat tube is. Iv got a 30.1 seat post clamp on so which front mech size will i need.
I tired a search but dident find anything,
Also it is an unbranded unlabeled frame.

it will prob be a 34.9, most shimano ones come in that size and have shims included to fit smaller diameter tubes (31.8, 28.6) so you cant go wrong.

measure the tube?

mech come in 3 sizes 28.6/31.8/34.9 if your seat post is 30.1 there is a good chance the mech band will have to be 34.9.
