Hi there!
Just got back from chicksands with my little bro and his front hub (non disk) is making a nasty metal on metal rubbing noise, and is wobbly on the spindle, however it is tight.
He had done some pretty big jumps but he couldnt recall landing perticually hard!
So am i right in thinking maby the bearings are knackered?
All opinions will be greatly appreciated!

If he has been riding around like this for a while, the whole hub could be knackered by now. You need to strip it, and isnpect the races. Park tools has a good guide.0

Nope it was ridden less that a minute like it!
I will have to have a look at it!0 -
Could be a collapsed bearing, but they rarely just go that way - usually a gradual process. Check to make sure the axle isnt bent too.0
