Malta in October - Worth Taking The Bike ?

I am off to Malta next month (with She Who Must Be Obeyed plus Brats). I may try to sneak my bike and escape from bucket and spade duties if there is some reasonable cycling to be had.

Have you travelled there with your bike (Air Malta, Ryan Air, etc) ?

Any feedback and advice would be much appreciated.

Don't forget that the driving code in Malta is 'drive on the side of the road that is in the shade'. Why not get in touch with a cycle club there and see if they can help you ? They might have a few loaners

do they still have as many pot-crevasses as they did in 2000 when i went - you could lose a mini in some of them!
