I think so my ATI Raedon X1400 supports Pixel Shader 2.0, 3.0 and DirectX 9.0c

Also the NVIDIA GeForce 6200 supports DirectX 9.0c and Pixel Shader 3.0

I'd of thought lugsey2k5 should be asking whether the cards are compatible with Directx 10 rather than 9. Still, each to their own.

its just thats the mim i need for this game. not realy too sure what it all does and not got a massive budget so just trying to get it working as cheap as possible

You should find, unless you get a totally iffy one, that most new cards will support DirectX 9 at least.
