Hi all.

After some advice about Suspension posts and if they are girly?!

I have a hard tail and am after some protection for my poor behind!

Any ideas on make/model?

  • The reviews say it has parrallel / backwards movement rather than up and down. Is this an issue?

Does it matter how it works as long as it does?

i found it matched what my legs were doing. as oposed ti a down and forward motion from the others.

it also kept the distance to the crank axle similar ie the back ward motion and the down did not reduce the seat to crank distance as much.

TBH you dont really notice after a while.

and i was not telling you how it worked. i was descibing how it felt.

ie less like a low seat and more like a correct seat height.

edit: Sorry last post on thread was a little unintentionally abrupt, a result of a long day and too much beer.

The Thudbuster LT got the gold award in WMB this month . The USE Sumo XCR Carbon Shokpost was also recommended. Both score 9/10.

The post moderne Bracer MT got the value award.

    hope this helps

edit: All in 27.2mm as your other thread on seat post diameter
