Hi,
Do you rate the Transfil flying snake cable set? Is it worth the extra few quid? Is it compatable with campagnolo ten speed shifters (not the new QS style but older ones)?
Cheers
Russell

FYI QS and older ones take the same cables.
Never tried the Transfil cables, but I assume that they either are compatible or make a compatible version.0 -
I've got FS cables which I'm planning on putting in Campag Record levers (QS ones), both shift and brake. What I've seen suggests they're compatible - will report back in a day or so.0

Your only potential problem might be that the nipple on the gear inners is too big - Campag nipple is slightly smaller than the Shimano one, but it only takes a few seconds with a file to make it fit. It's so long since I used Flying Snake cables, I can't remember how they fitted. Since I've found I can get the Jagwire ones from Germany so cheaply off ebay, I've been using them since.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I've been using flying snake on chorus 9 speed for years without problems0

I've just checked mine, and whilst the nipple on the gear cable is a little bigger than the standard Campag cable one, it fits in the shifter just fine. Is just a bit snugger than the Campag cable. Can't see why the brake cables should be a problem either. I think the ferrule for the end of the gear outer might need cutting down a little to make the bend inside the Ergo unit, but as it's plastic, that's easy.0

Thanks everyone. Order made.
