Just been for a 1 hour spin on it.
OMFG
wot a dream machine, its awsum, rides like 200 million times better than my old crap CBR supermoto full sus pile of s**t.
its so light, im like 36 and 14 stone, want to loose a bit of weight, but its just blew my mind how good it is.
popping a wheelie for a whole 360 turn of the peddles
bunny hopping off a grass jump on way down a massive (jungle is ;-) ) hill.
yes they are suntour xcr's and feel really nice.
locked out on a steep climb, I am really over the moon as you can tell.
just bought sum red grips/red lizardskin chain guard/
red sidewall panracers mud pro
just need some suggestions on the pedels.
wellgo magnesium? in grey to go with forks?
brakes are great, gear change so smooth, and no noise either when freecoasting down hill from rear gear.
sorry for my stupidness, but is that a new thing, I remember the old days when it ticking away like a mad clicking thing
the white is actually pearlescent, so shimmers in sun and light.
frame has a well nice curve on bottom tube, like a stealth plane kinda thing goin on.0 -

sweet! I have an 07 Avalanche 2 disc and love mine to bits!
As regards pedals - i'm thinking of a small upgrade and putting some Kona Jack Sh!t pedals on mine...you can get them pretty cheap here: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=20853
I've ridden a Kona on some trails with these pedals and thought they were damn grippy and I like having a big pedal platform to push down on!
enjoy the bike! :-)0 -
My '07 Avalanche 2 had it's 'free' forst service today from Evans' and I was told off as it had some Dalby dust on it
Too busy enjoying riding it I think to notice the dust!!0 -
