Repair or replace Giant MPH brakes?

Hi
It looks like one of the pistons on my rear giant mph brake has given up; it often jams in the "closed" position, meaning the brakes stay on when I don't want them to.
I guess I have two options; get the brakes serviced (maybe the piston replaced) or just buy newer and better brakes. I have my eye on a set of Juicy 7s and this would be the perfect excuse to get them....
I don't want to throw significant money at the MPHs if I could spend that money on upgraded brakes. To be honest I've never been particularly impressed with the performance of the Giants.
As far as rotor sizes go, the current ones are 160mm. Would I experience problems if I opted for 185mm or 203mm rotors? (forks are marzocchi mx comp eta with ISM and frame is an Orange with rear ISM)
Cheers for any advice

no bigger than 185mm.
and that will be way more power than current.
but a service and new seals is what i would do and save the money for later."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Oh well, I fixed the piston problem and went up the LBS to get a bleed kit; ended up walking out with a set of hope mono minis!

glad you have upgraded to some hopers. anyones else who is thinking about upgrading from tne mph brakes please do so as soon as you can afford it as you will never look back. giant have finally listened to it lbs who sell and fix these brakes. i cannot tell you how glad we are that they have finally started to faze out these brakes from there line up. they have now bought the rights from another maker to put the mph name on to. only this time the brakes won't fall apart at the slightest tumbleinternet (in ter net), secret sanctuary of idiots and nutters.0

With the MPH3 brakes on my Giant i was quite impressed with them. Quite a bit of adjustment on them.
Now the proud owner of some Formula Oro K24's. Very impressed and that's with just fitting them to the bike.
Went offshore so havent had a chance to test them yet.0
