Wanting to upgrade fork

Wanting to change the fork on my GT Chucker.

I have a 2004 Marzocchi Z1 with 130mm of travel in the loft, would i be able to use this fork on the bike without any problems?

Also what are the good forks these days that can take a mixture of riding but mostly looking at freeride and the rare DH blast?

    Its a jump bike you have, so while better than some for DH and FR, its suited best for jumps with the geometry and fork travel. Z1 will be better than what you have, the bike is designed around a 100mm travel fork. I'd look at Marzocchi DJs.

    Yer thats fair enough

    Only reason i asked is my bro has the z1's and like i said there 130mm and he basically said im welcome to them if there any good to me. Might just have to look at getting meself a hardtail for some DH and freeride then :)
