Mavic Askium maintenance problems??
Hi all, I’ve been doing some pre’ winter maintenance on my bike and I’ve come to a slight problem.
I’ve been greasing the bearings on my Mavic’ Askium's and getting into the sealed bearings is a dodle apart from the drive side of the rear wheel.
I can remove the axle and bearing dust cover from the other side but can not work out how to get into the bearing on the other side. Has any one sorted this problem????

The sealed bearings are maintenance free. I would just leave them alone.0

Yes Joe; maintenance free, no such thing!
When I dismantled the front hub I found light rust on the outer ball race? And that was after only six months riding mostly in Spain. Coupled together with the report from CyclePlus that the bearings were not very well sealed leads me to believe that a little maintenance would be a good thing. What might they be like after a winter of wet salt!!
Would any one else like to contribute?
