I know its only autumn but its getting chilly here in Sweden...
Any ideas for a cosy jacket/jersey?
Full zip, windproof front, rear pocket(s), pit zips, 50-80GBP, fits chunky female form?
Don't want waterproofness or garish colours!
Mail order avaliablity & therefore accurate sizing is of importance too!

Gore Tool - ticks all your boxes - usually £100 but might find one going cheap - slightly looser cut than normal slim cycling fit too
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • What about something from ground effect, based in NZ? They do some women's specific gear, although the Draft Dodger sounds like the type of thing you are after, if you fit Men's sizes. I have the Submerino and the Median Strip, former great for late autumn on its own, or winter with another layer under or over it. The Median Strip was good for spring, and beginning of autumn. Sizing does appear to come up large, as they say on their website. (Their merino blend socks are nice and toasty too!)
  • Interesting suggestions, thanks

Draft Dodger soft shell - windproof all the way round so to speak?

HAve found endura jacket, wind proof front - any experiences?

Just got a Alura night vision, windproof, full zip, 3 rear pockets, very bright (yellow or black) and is washable with non bio powder at 30 degrees costs about 50 quid. I'm very pleased with it so far.
