Sigma Olympia fully carbon bicycle with Ultegra groupset, mavic rims, any comments? advice? Been offered this from a friend at a very reduced price, my other option was a Bianchi but my budget wouldn't allow me to get a carbon frame. Any thoughts?

Assuming you mean Sigma Sport's own brand frames, then the Olympia retails at £999 for the frame so if the price is right you may get a good deal.

Sigma's frames are built for them in Italy mainly by Billato. They are, by all accounts, pretty good frames and the quality is good.
  • I've been offered it for £500

My initial budget was around £700 for a new bike, so i think is a pretty good value for money?

If the condition of the bike is good and it hasn't got any crash damage then I'd say £500 for an Ultegra equipped carbon framed bike is a very good deal.
