I am after one of the Deda Scuro HCR frames. Anyone know where I can get one without slapped on reseller decals?

Also...at such a light weight do you think it is stiff enough for 78kg rider with a decent enough sprint?

Many thanks

Russell

It says on the auction will only ship within France but I contacted the seller recently and he said he will ship to uk for 40 euros. I also asked if he can provide the frame 'sans decalcomanie' which he said he could. I worked out that the cost of the frame + seat post + postage (but less forks) was around £770.

Doubt very much that your weight will be an issue with the frame.

  • Thanks for that link. I'll brush up on my french and send him a message.

    Cheers

I have a size large frame (55 actual top tube, 56 effective) that I'm selling with only 137 miles covered - knew I was taking a chance on sizing but it's just too big for me on head tube length and standover height (head tube is 17 cms and seat tube is 54 cms centre to top. Seatpost is 30 cms long).

Has white Dedacciai decals on the downtube and a small Scuro decal on the top tube but they are not lacquered over and are easily removeable.

I'm 80 kilos and you will not have any issues with this frame - remarkable, direct drive (seems to jump forward with every pedal stroke, particularly when out of the saddle) but still very comfortable (no issues with butt or back pain after one 70 mile run)

Actual frame weight for the Large frame is 999 grammes - Medium is 957 so I can only guess that it must be an small frame without cable adjusters and rear mech hangar that they're quoting at 870.

Seat post is 179 grammes and seat clamp is 25 grammes.

Ribble sell the frame and seatpost for £845 + postage.

I'm selling frame and seatpost with next day delivery for £650 if you're interested and I can accept payment by Paypal for additional buyer protection.

Really disappointed to be selling this as I've lusted after one of them since early this year but riding it back to back with my medium Giant today has confirmed I've made an expensive mistake.

You can email me at andylav@zoom. co. uk if you're interested or have any questions I can help you with.

    Best regards

    Andy
