Clicking rear wheel

My bike (Specialized FSR XC) together with my son's (Giant Trance 4) took a fall at the weekend - a bump in the road caused 3 of the 4 plastic buckles on the car rack to snap. The rack with the bikes fell on the road and buckled both front wheels. These have now been replaced but nothing else looks damaged. I have, however, an annoying clicking in the rear wheel. Anyone got any ideas. The clicking is only presence when pedaling. It is not there when freewheeling and it is not there when I am not on the bike ie the bike is not loaded. I have checked for missing or bent teeth in the rear cassette and have replaced the rear tire. I can't see why this could cause problems but have noted that it was a question asked in other posts on other forums. The clicking is not caused by a stone in the tread however

Could be unrelated, or something might have loosened. After a heavy fall like tghis its sometimes worth a shop doing a safety check. In the meantime look on Park Tools for their article on clicking nosies.0

Is the wheel tight? The rear wheel on my Commencal Combi R was moving and i thought the wheel was loose, my mate said the axel was broken but it turned out to be the bolt for the rear mech hanger was loose. Try looking at all these areas.Learn on a Hardtail or be crap forever!0
