Crank Brothers 50:50 Sealted Bearings Pedals

I had a pair of these pedals without the sealed bearings and found the bolts holding in the plates were so easily rounded, meaning you can't really tighten them enough. I've since bought a pair of the sealed bearings and, not surprisingly, I've got the same problem. I've lost bolts and bolts have loosened.

Does anyone know if there is a way round this, or if I can get extra bolts anywhere? Better bolts? Or, if I'm better off just replacing my pedals!!! I like the pedals, but I've ended trails and realised I've ridden some without any bolts holding the plate in place, and it's a bit worrying.

Mate I had exactly the same problem. I tried loctite which ment they rounded off when you tried to losen them and without locktite they just shook loose. So ive removed them sworn at them and got myself a pair of DMR V12's problem solved.

hmmm I'm very tempted to do the same, I like the pedals though!!!
Got V12s on my Full susser, no problems there!

I agree the 50 50's look good but the V12's are just so muchmore reliable IMO.

V12's are no good for people with large feet. Your better off with Funn Soljam Vipers, Atomlab Trailkings or Easton Flat Boys
