Any make, any colour

What would be considered the best fix and forget lightweight UK trail fork with 130mm travel?

Cheers,

  • I've just been asking the same question and been advised the Pikes are really good.

I'm over 12st so been advised to stick with spring and ditch air

    Pikes are heavy.

Fox Float RLC or a RS Revelation
    S-works Stumpjumper FSR

I'll see you at the end.

You'll see me on the floor.

i am over over 12 st and run air.revalations and air rebas.

also as you get lighter, air is cheap to adjust.

  • Suppose it depends how much you are over the 12st mark. I'm just hovering under the 14st mark.

Friend of similar weight could never get the same plushness from air shocks as he does with his currnet coil Pike setup.
I'm yet to have a balst on his bike and see for myself but he raves about them. Would have gone for the Lyriks if he was focusing more DH big hit riding

i can relate to you comments as my bikes with 150mm and over of front travel have coils but both 100-130mm u turn and the 100mm are air OK there is a 120mm coil as well.

and i an at 100kg. work that out.

Revelations are the way to go for 130mm travel AM forks, Ive got Both Fox Air and Revelation Coils and the Coil does feel alot more plush out on the trail, im just under 14st myself.
