Fork travel indator

I was going to make a travel indicator to put on fork, but i dont know what to make it from.

could you just use a zip tie or is there any better alternatives

Zip tie is the best way, or just look for the dirt rings!

zip ties can knacker your seals tho, but only if you bottom out the fork i suppose.

Rubber O rings are the best, but difficult to put on.

Zip ties should be ok then, because even when i bottom out my fork it still has about 1 inch at the top that has never been touched by the insides of the fork.

Piece of piss to fit O rings, I made a diagonal cut & then superglued it back together, making sure I didn't glue it to the fork too!

nice trick andy - i sent my forks off to TFTuned to have one fitted, just so happened they gave them a service at the same time
