2006 xtr disc brake question

hi all, just got a quick question on fitting these:
just wondering how many of the shims you use when fitting the calipers. i know this may vary from bike to bike (mines an anthem if this helps) . any advice is greatly appreciated

    You pretty much answered your own question: it varies (dpending on fork/hub combo). Its important the disc mounts are faced, and the hub has no play. Then use the shims until the caliper is centred.

    gaz remember to center the disc to the caliper and not to the pads. many people have made this school boy error. hell i did it many moons ago.
