2006 xtr disc brake question

hi all, just got a quick question on fitting these:
just wondering how many of the shims you use when fitting the calipers. i know this may vary from bike to bike (mines an anthem if this helps) . any advice is greatly appreciated

    You pretty much answered your own question: it varies (dpending on fork/hub combo). Its important the disc mounts are faced, and the hub has no play. Then use the shims until the caliper is centred.

  • gaz remember to center the disc to the caliper and not to the pads. many people have made this school boy error. hell i did it many moons ago.
