Post the over and above service you've recieved from your LBS, here:-
We pop in quite regular to see Mark, normally just to say hi.
But did ask him to give our bikes the once over before the Southern Sportive, no probs with mine, he just felt the headset should be tightened, in readiness for a long ride.
He was though a little perplexed by Mrs Postie's Shimano compact chain set (ongoing on 'road gear & know how'). This has stayed with him, too the point that he was looking on Cannondale's web-site saturday evening, for her.
All this from a man who neither of us have ever brought a bike from.
We do our 'big shop' from the stores main outlet 10 miles up the road.
And he looks after (all but insists) our dogs when i go for a coffee, next door.

I did think about that, homercles, but thought it might been seen as advertising, getting a cheap plug, or as in Mark's case have the poor bloke inundated with dogs!.
So decided to generally share my recognision (sp) of his passion for all things cycling, albeit in a public way.
As well as wondering what other like minded people get up to in their shops. (so to speak).0 -
Yeah, fair point I guess - the last thing we want is a post by 'Hal Fords' telling us that the service in all of their 100+ shops is amazing!0
