Giro Atmos....narrow?

My head size is 58cm and I use a Giro E2 in Medium which fits great. However I got a Giro Atmos from Ebay in Medium and it's really narrow and squeezes the sides of my head. Is this right, a variation from the same size and manufacturer? Getting a large seems silly

    The Atmos I have is quite narrow (it just! fits) my Spesh Decibel is slightly rounder, and the Bell Sweep is rounder still. Never tried on an E2 though, but I wouldn't be suprised if every Giro helmet is a slightly different shape.

    Hmmm, may go for a Decibel then.

    What colour though is the question, grey bike and white/purple shades with Liquigas jersey!
