Which hardtail frame for short travel forks ?

I think I'm doing this a bit back assward but here goes...
I've got a pair of Magura Odur 85mm forks, these were bought for my Thorn Nomad touring bike when I'm using it in places were the "roads" are a bit rough. Most of the time I'll be using the lighter rigid forks.
I'd like to build up a "proper" MTB and it seems reasonable to use the Maguras for this. Most current frames seem to be designed around longer travel forks though....
So, I'm after a frame, almost certainly 2nd hand, pref steel, for a 6ft tall, 14st rider to do a bit of easy off road stuff.
Suggestions please! On-One Inbred looks a decent bet, anything else ?
