GT Aggressor XCR 2007 - Views please

Hi All,
First post and trying to get back into MTB, how things have changed in 8 yrs!
I currently own a 12 yr old GT Tequesta, and looking for a hardback. Always liked GT and I see halfords have the GT Aggressor XCR on sale at the moment, and looks like good deal for the spec. I was looking at the Fury, but it has gone up to £550 (doubtless it will come down again), so there is £87 quid difference. Bike will need to be sourced through Halford BTW.
Any views on this bike would be very appreciated.

Was reviewed by MBUK last year, got 8/10. Good value, tough bike, heavier than your standard trail bike at this price, but stronger. I believe the geometry was revised on newer versions to make better use of the longer travel setting of the fork. Try it.0
