Can anyone recommend a good set of tyres for the winter. at present i am riding on a pair of schwalbe stelvio. My commute is all road and mainly through lanes so the tyres need to have a good resistance to punctures. One more thing i am using my wheels off my racing bike so the tyre width must be between 23mm - 25mm.
any help will be appricated.

I use schwalbe marathon plus tyres for my commute, they range from 700 x 25 up to 700 x 32 . Not the fastest tyre in the world but if reliability & .puncture resistance is what your after, they will do the job. £38 for 2 from www.bikeplus .co.uk. :D
